is seeking performers for its upcoming summer production of “That Summer” by David French and for Fall ’25 performances TBD and our acting workshop March ’25.
PRODUCTION DETAILS
Our directors are Mike Semple and Colin Legge. For ‘That Summer’ Mike is scheduled to direct. The venue is the Guy Lombardo Pavilion in Springbank Park, and dates are to be confirmed. The dates are likely to be the 3rd and 4th weeks of July ’25. Rehearsals will be 3 – 4 weeks prior. For Fall ’25 we are planning two plays, TBD. Performance, rehearsals and venue TBD. We hope that the talent we see in the auditions will inform some creative choices.

For ‘That Summer’ by David French we are casting performers of all genders, ethnicities, and abilities for the following roles. Young people please apply. Age ranges are guides, if you think you can play the age as noted, please apply.
- Margaret Ryan: 45 -55, mother, narrator
- Caitlin Ryan: 13, her granddaughter
- Young Margaret: 17
- Daisy Ryan: 16, Margaret’s sister
- Jack Ryan: 40 – 48, their father
- Mrs. Crump: 60 – 65, neighbor
- Paul Wyatt: 17 – 20
FALL ’25 – our search is wide open. If you have not auditioned for us before we especially want to see you. All ages, ethnicities, genders, diverse in all ways are urged to apply. Equity and non-equity performers are welcome. Our productions operate under the CAEA Indie 3.0 agreement.
PREPARATION
Please prepare a 1 – 2-minute monologue. If you are specifically auditioning for ‘That Summer’ we will send you the script to read and supplies sides as necessary.
