William Foley as Mr. Hanratty

After a longer than wanted hiatus, William is thrilled to be back on stage with Theatre Aezir’s production of The Minutes. Graduating from ‘The Dome Theatre’ at Montreal’s Dawson College in 1995, William has worked from coast to coast ever since. From Gymnasiums to hundred-year-old subterranean stages, from parks to centuries old military fortresses, William has played on every type of stage imaginable. (yes, churches too) With characters from Richard III, Iago and Macbeth to ‘Sloppy Joe Jarvis’ and ‘Alien Voice’, (some were more memorable than others, sure) he is genuinely thrilled to add Hanratty to the collection!

Josh Cottrell as Mr. Breeding

Josh is pleased to play Matt Breeding in his debut performance with Theatre Aezir. He is returning to London stage after a hiatus, but you may remember Josh as Lord Darlington in Lady Windemere’s Fan (Theatre Soup); Pontius Pilate in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot (Iglesia Theatre); Caliban in The Tempest (Passionfool); or as Hamlet in Hamlet ADD (Theatre Nemesis). He has also written (and sometimes acted/produced/directed) his own plays for both the London Fringe, Playwright’s Cabaret, and as part of Jason Rip’s Frights of Spring. At home, Josh finds happiness whiling away at his workbench, designing and painting fine scale models, but he is forever grateful to Theatre Aezir for coaxing him out of the basement.

Chris Bancroft as Mayor Superba

Fresh from Port Stanley Festival Theatre’s, “The Perils of Persephone”, I couldn’t be happier returning to the stage with Theatre Aezir, after appearing in their 2023 production of “The Phoenix Lottery” as Cardinal Wichita. Theatre Aezir has assembled another brilliant ensemble, under great direction in yet another fantastic, current and provocative piece. A graduate of the University of Windsor’s School of Dramatic Art, I got my start playing Judas in Theatre Kent’s production of “Jesus Christ Superstar”. Since then, I’ve played in diverse venues from Granville Island, Vancouver, to Toronto, to Kawartha Lakes, to Brantford’s Sanderson Centre, Niagara Falls for dinner theatre.
